Many  people have been disappointed by the answer they've gotten to this  question. Eternal life is about seeing what is beyond what we see in  this world. Jesus promised us that He would open our eyes to see the  blessings that He has for us as individuals. And that blessing will  never have an end — that's why it's called eternal life. 

 We only have to be willing to see and hear  what the words of Jesus say. The Bible is Jesus Himself in the flesh.  The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:14) 

 Can anything supernatural be so real? The  only way to feel this and know it exists is when you experience Jesus  and His love in your heart. This experience is so simple and easy that a  child can understand it. All you have to do, only if you want to, is  accept Him — Jesus — to come into your heart and show you His love and  His power. It will make the changes that we all need. This is called the  born again experience. Born of the eternal Spirit of God. He promised  us He would give us a new spirit and a new heart. "I will give you a new  heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone  out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit  within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My  judgments and do them." (Ez. 36:26-27) 

 ​For this eternal life promised to us by  God Himself, all you have to do is believe in your heart that Jesus is  God and confess with your mouth that you receive Him to come into your  heart and enter your life and help you change what you cannot change  yourself. I promise you, by the Word of God, if you say this prayer with  your whole heart, you are saved. There's only one more thing — never  keep sin in your heart. Always confess your sins to God and ask  forgiveness. Keep your heart clean and guard it. 

He is your Saviour by this prayer and your  Lord by His guidance. Let Him be your Shepherd. If you want to invite  Jesus in your life right now, just say out loud to the Lord: 

Jesus, today I'm asking you to come  into my heart. Forgive me of all my sins. You know what I've done. Wipe  my sins away and give me a brand new start. Come into my heart. Help me  change what I cannot change. I'm willing to change. Help me never to  give up and when I do sin, and fall short of Your calling, help me to  ask forgiveness right away. And I thank you Lord, You said in Your Word  when I ask forgiveness for my sins You do not remember my sins anymore.  One day when I leave this life and see you, you will only see the love  I've had for you in this world.
